math 1a - calculus

分成三个部分：

• 教材第1，2章：函数，极限，导数
• 教材第3，4章：微分及其应用
• 教材第5，6章：积分及其应用

上述三部分内容大致对应两次期中和一次期末考试。

Textbook: Stewart, Single Variable Calculus

Outline of the Course:

• Chapter 1: Functions and Models 6 hours （函数和模型）
• Chapter 2: Limits and Derivatives 8 hours （极限和导数）
• Chapter 3: Differentiation Rules 8 hours （微分规则）
• Chapter 4: Applications of Differentiation 8 hours （微分的应用）
• Chapter 5: Integrals 5 hours （积分）
• Chapter 6: Applications of Integration 3 hours （积分的应用）

按照伯克利的课程安排，粗略估计每个章节需要8个小时课堂讲座，同等时长的讨论，以及因人而异的课后作业练习时长。每天能拿出来2个小时学习的话，慢慢学2个月应该也能大致学完。

Prerequisites: Three and one-half years of high school math, including trigonometry（三角学） and analytic geometry（解析几何）
